1875 Map
This is a map done in 1875 by cartographers as part of a state wide mapping project. This map shows the roads, mills and includes names with many of the houses. It includes detailed maps of Ashby Center and Mill Village. It is printed on heavy stock suitable for framing or displaying as is. This a limited edition. Six framed maps will be created this year and of those only four are offered for sale.
The map is 12 1/2″ x 16″. Framed it measures 18 1/2″ x 22″. This is an excellent gift for yourself or the Ashbyphile in your life.

1850 Map
This a hand drawn map of Ashby by George Hitchcock. The map was included in Hitchcock’s “Memoirs of Ashby 1850” and was done in colored inks. This color map shows the roads, mills and includes names with many of the houses. It includes detailed map of Ashby Center.
George Hitchcock grew up on Main Street in Ashby in the 1840’s and 1850’s. In his later years he wrote a memoir of his time in Ashby which included this hand drawn map in colored inks. This a limited edition. Six framed color maps will be created this year and of those only four are offered for sale. To the best of our knowledge this is the first time this map has been offered in a color print.
The map is 20 1/2″ x 13 1/4″. Framed it measures 27″ x 19 3/4″.
